Macrame Feather wall hanging - home decor.

This macrame feather wall hanging is a fab piece of home decor you can hang up in any room of the house. Great for a Mothers Day gift of a gift to yourself it can be completely individual and personal to you.

The size of the 3 feather wall hanging measures approx 40cm wide (the driftwood) and the longest feather approx 35cm. The driftwood will be longer dependong on how many feathers you have ordered.

It will be hung on a beautifully selected piece of driftwood, the size of driftwood will differ slightly as they are all collected/bought locally and will all have slightly different colours and markings to them. I would be happy to send you a photo of my current selection on request otherwise I will pick you a perfect piece for your wall hanging.

The macrame feathers will be made in a selection of lengths to create a lovely layered look.

All pieces are handmade by myself, due to each piece being handmade, please allow some differences between the photos and the item you receive, for example the colouring may differ slightly.

The width of any item described will be the widest point, the driftwood stick and the height will not include the hanging cord.

Macrame Care:
Your feathers may get ruffled and slightly tangled during it’s journey to you, just grab a brush or a comb and on a flat surface gently brush the fringe out to make it neat once again. You may also wish to set the fringe to make it more rigid - all pieces are sprayed with a setting spray but this will eventually wear off. Simply spray from a reasonable distance some hair spray on to your fringe and then brush through.

How to clean your Macrame:
Your macrame piece may get dirty or dusty over time, you can run the soft nozzle of the vacuum cleaner over it to clean it or if you feeling it needs a more thorough wash grab a bowl with cool water and add some detergent (not one with bleach!). Leave your macrame to soak for a while and then empty the water out. Fill the bowl again with cool water and add your macrame piece to then wash out any detergent (you may need to do this a couple of times). Gently squeeze out any excess water and pat dry with a towel. Brush out your fringe if applicable to avoid tangles and then hang to dry somewhere.
